Anjali is a sophomore from Austin, Texas who aspires to use art as a conduit for advocacy. When she isn’t reading, she loves to film with her friends and to play fantasy video games. She admires the humanities, and in the future wants to study philosophy, the politics and history of space exploration, or medieval linguistics. Her favorite authors are Susanna Clarke, Clarice Lispector, Tanith Lee, Toni Morrison, and Isabella Hammad.

Cleo is a high school sophomore from Austin, Texas, who is usually found creating paintings, drawings, and digital works (usually portraiture and landscapes). When she’s not drawing, she’s usually reading, listening to and playing music on her piano, or singing. She’s inspired by artists like Sam Yang and Edward Hopper, but she especially obsesses over AURORA. She’s passionate about her love for art, the environment, and the natural world!

Su (she/her) is a 16-year-old sophomore from Austin, Texas, who is known her family and friends to be a creative person. Although she has many hobbies, her top ones have to be drawing, baking, and writing! When she does feel like picking up a book, psychological horror gets her attention. Most of the time you’ll find her cooped up in her room either drawing or watching her favorite show, but she also loves exploring, and physical activities such as climbing, running, and swimming!

Katara (she/her) is a 15-year-old sophomore from Austin, Texas, with a love for reading, typography (especially calligraphy) and photography. When she isn’t immersed in a book, she’s usually rock climbing competitively or exploring the outdoors. A science enthusiast, she has a particular passion for biology, fueled by her deep appreciation for animals and the natural world. She finds inspiration in the works of authors Alan Gratz and Markus Zusak.

Emery (any/all) is a high school sophomore from Austin, Texas. You can usually find her in her bedroom watching tv, reading a book, writing, or just listening to music. They are known for their love of TV shows, such as Total Drama and Alice in Borderland. She loves talking about her interests and hopes to begin a YouTube channel dedicated to making video essays about whatever pops into their head.

Olivia is a high school sophomore in Austin, Texas. She likes to bake and listen to music in her free time. She enjoys watching and researching films, her favorite movie director being Wes Anderson. Her favorite film is Moonrise Kingdom. She also very occasionally reads books, with her favorites being Girl in Pieces and The Lovely Bones. She enjoys social media and the technology behind it, and loves to help manage the social media accounts for the magazine!

Max (they/them) is a 15-year-old student who is typically found at the nearest hiking trail, local bookshop, or in the coziest corner of their bedroom. When they aren’t reading or scrolling through Pinterest to find the perfect photo of Sophia Lillis or Chappell Roan, they are performing with their improv troupe! They love wood-burning candles, loud noises, and funny-looking cactuses. They are inspired by Gail Honeyman, Masani Negloria, and Amanda Montell.
